James Steuterman, born in 1956, is Chairman Emeritus of ARCTRUST Private Capital where he is primarily responsible for the capital needs of the ARCTRUST Group of Companies’ sponsored Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) programs, including ARCTRUST, Inc. and ARCTRUST III, Inc., as well as numerous other sponsored funds and programs, including Capitol Opportunity Zone Fund, LP, numerous DSTs, and its opportunistic joint venture development and private sidecar investments. Mr. Steuterman is a senior partner of the ARCTRUST Group of Companies, and served as President of ARCTRUST, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of ARCTRUST III, Inc. Mr. Steuterman remains a member of the Board of Directors of both companies and a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees.
Previously, Mr. Steuterman served as a Director and Audit Committee member of ARC Corporate Realty Trust, Inc., from 1993 to 2008. Prior to joining ARCTRUST, Mr. Steuterman was Senior Vice President of Toll Brothers, Inc., a fortune 500 company, where he was responsible for the commercial land holdings, acquisition, development, and overall management of commercial mixed use and suburban retail, multi-family rental, and office projects, for Toll’s affiliates, including Toll Brothers Realty Trusts I and II – joint venture investments with the Pennsylvania State Employee Retirement System (SERS). Preceding Toll, he was Chief Operating Officer as well as an Investment Committee and Board member of New Plan Excel Realty Trust, a $3-billion, NYSE-listed REIT. Mr. Steuterman has more than four decades of real estate experience, is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (Nareit), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and is a designated Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM).
Christopher C. Wadelin serves as CEO, responsible for leading the overall strategy and capital markets division of the ARCTRUST Group of Companies. Chris has extensive experience in the financial services industry, beginning his career on the wealth management side, and spending the better part of the last decade on the sponsor side, focused on commercial real estate and private equity alternative investments. During his tenure, he has helped raise more than $1.7 billion of investor capital. Prior to his investment career, Chris spent time in athletics, coaching in the Collegiate, Professional and Olympic ranks. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. In addition, he is an avid golfer, enjoys being on the water, exploring all of what the local Gulf Coast has to offer, and restoring classic cars. Chris holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 66 licenses with Chauner Securities, Inc. member FINRA/SIPC. He is also an active participant in many alternative investment industry organizations. Chris holds a BS from Northern Illinois University.
Lisa Gunnels serves as Chief Operations Officer, focusing on stockholder relations, broker-dealer and registered investment advisor coordination. Lisa works closely with these groups, securities custodians and transfer agents daily to ensure all investor inquiries are addressed. She manages the subscription process and day-to-day activities of the in-house Investor Relations department. Lisa has over fifteen years of experience in both commercial and residential real estate and started her career in residential real estate working for Pulte Homes, a Fortune 500 Company. Lisa holds an MBA and a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Jason Kling serves as Regional Vice President of Capital Markets. With more than 25 years of capital markets experience, Jason most recently held a similar role with a DST Sponsor that specializes in the student housing and multifamily sectors. He brings to the team a wealth of experience in fundraising for real estate offerings both public and private. Jason holds a BS in finance from the University of Iowa and holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses with Chauner Securities, Inc. member FINRA/SIPC. Jason and his family reside in Aurora, IL.

Prior to joining CMF, he was the Senior Vice President, National Accounts Director at Shopoff Realty Investments from July 2014 through January 2018. Mr. Laganza was a key component in the launch of the Shopoff funds into the independent broker dealer space. During his tenure at Shopoff, Mr. Laganza was instrumental in helping to raise over $300 million for the Shopoff funds and 1031 products.
Mr. Laganza also served as Senior Vice President, National Accounts at ATEL Securities from November 2012 through July 2014 where he was instrumental in managing ATEL’s Broker-Dealer relationships nationally and worked with the marketing team to deliver campaigns to build brand awareness.
From December 2010 through November 2012, Mr. Laganza served as the Director, National Accounts at Griffin Capital Securities where he was directly responsible for expanding distribution of Griffin Capital Securities products by expanding the selling group of the Griffin Capital Net Lease REIT and Griffin-American Healthcare REIT II.
Prior to 2010, Mr. Laganza held roles at Lightstone Securities, Royal Alliance Associates, MetLife Broker-Dealer Network, Nathan and Lewis Securities, and The AIG Life Companies dating back to April 1995.
Mr. Laganza received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Seton Hall University. Mr. Laganza also has his Series 7, 24 and 63 Licenses.
